About Quayle’s Brewery
Quayle’s Brewery is a thriving craft brewery nestled in the hills of Oro-Medonte. Featuring an outdoor patio, taproom, and event space, Quayle’s Brewery is a popular destination for visitors to the area and a cherished gathering place for the local community.
We seek a highly skilled, friendly, and hardworking Front of House Manager with brewery and/or restaurant experience to join our management team year-round, long-term. The ideal candidate will set a tone of excellence and professionalism, ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products, and be energized by the opportunity to contribute to our growth and success. Duties Include but Are Not Limited to
- Supervise and manage the FOH team and day-to-day operations of food and beverage and event services.
- Collaborate with our Chef in developing and presenting menus and features as required.
- Work closely with our Head Brewer and Sales & Distribution team in the logistics of our beer releases and promotion in the tap room and online.
- Monitor sales data, cost of goods, overhead, labour costs, expenses, and profit to ensure successful operations.
- Develop policies and procedures for all aspects of customer-facing programs, functions and events.
- Set goals, metrics, and targets for cost of goods sold and events.
- Manage FOH staff training, POS maintenance & online ordering system.
- Ensures and monitors customer satisfaction, making appropriate adjustments based on data analysis.
- Lead routine staff meetings to ensure accountability and uniformity.
- Collaborate with Marketing to oversee advertising/marketing campaigns for tasting rooms and to ensure events are well-communicated.
- Maintain accurate pricing and inventory records.
- Provide on-site oversight for events when necessary.
- Hire, manage, train, conduct performance reviews and schedule bartending and event staff.
- Ensure merchandise areas at all locations are stocked and all merchandise items are properly priced and displayed.
- Troubleshoot as needed.
- Managing end-of-day duties.
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to management.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and adjust policies to reflect changing work environments.
- Coach and support the FOH team to effectively manage controllable expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- 3-5years of relevant management experience in bar, restaurant, or brewery.
- Proven ability to manage, lead, and develop people.
- 1-2 years of experience in event planning and marketing preferred
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
- Demonstrated passion for craft beer and community.
- Advanced understanding of POS systems and reporting.
- A competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality.
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills; Self-motivated, driven, positive, with a high energy, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Adaptable, flexible, & dependable team player

- Able to work onsite Wednesday through Sunday and occasional long hours for events.
