FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Is your patio open?
A. Yes, our outdoor spacious patio is open every Thursday through Saturday 12pm – 8pm and Sunday from 12pm to 7pm.  We also have a beautiful beer garden with some covered space for you to enjoy on a first come first basis (if no private event is taking place).   We welcome you to wander through the garden.

Q. Can we enjoy the beer garden?
A. Yes you can enjoy our beer garden.   We have a bar in the beer garden where you can order food and select from 1 of 4 taps of beer.  Our garden is filled with tulips and daffodils in the spring, lavender in the early summer followed by sunflowers.  We invite you to walk around or sit in the beer garden.  We do not permit wine or cider or glassware to the garden, which also means no flights.  Please advise our staff and they will pour your beer into a plastic glass.  The garden also has two private event spaces.  If there are no events or we are not preparing for one, we invite you to use this space as well.

Q. Are you taking reservations?
A. No we do not take reservations.  We will seat you on a first come, first serve basis.   If we have a wait list we do reserve the right to limit your visit to 90 minutes in order for us to clean the area properly before the next guest arrives.  We recommend giving us a call (705) 298-0204 to check how busy we are.

Q. What if there is a line-up?
A. We will take your name and text you when a table is available so you can enjoy a pint of beer in our beer garden while you wait.

Q. Can I walk in the hop-yards?
A. Yes, you are welcome to enjoy the hop-yard beside our beer garden.  We ask that you do not venture into other hop-yards as these are our production crops and they have to be protected so that we can ensure we have great hops to make beer.  We also want to keep you safe from our commercial machinery.

Q. How many people per table?
A. Depending where you sit we can sit from 6 to 8 people at a table.  We will not move tables together on our patio.  Larger groups than 12 will have to re-locate to our beer garden.  Groups larger than 25 are considered a private party and must speak with our events team to reserve a private space.

Q. Do you permit outside food or drinks?
A. We do not permit any food or drinks from outside at any time due to allergies and health & safety protocols.  For private events, all food is catered by one of our preferred caterers.

Q. Can I buy cans to go to drink on your property?
A. No! Our cans-to-go are TO GO.  Our license does not permit you to drink cans-to-go on our property.  Please respect this and take them home to enjoy!!

Q.  Can I bring my own chairs?
A.  For safety reasons and capacity restrictions we do not permit you to bring your own chairs.

Q. Do you serve anything other than beer?
A. Yes! We serve local cider from Heritage Estates, both red and white wine as well as a variety of  non-alcoholic drinks including Coke, Diet Coke. Ginger Ale, Apple Juice and Iced Tea, coffee and tea. We have water stations available on our patio and beer garden filled with fresh spring water for you to help yourself to.

Q. Do you fill growlers or howlers?
A. Sorry, we are currently not offering growler or howler fills due to regulations. Once we are permitted to, we have Quayle’s Brewery howlers (900ml) for sale that can be refilled or you can bring your own.

Q. Do you rent your space?
A. We do! We have a variety of unique picturesque spaces available both inside and outside to rent for weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and more for group sizes between 25 and 150.   It is important to book early. To learn more about our spaces and availability, please contact us at info@quaylesbrewery.ca for availability and pricing.  All private events must be booked in advance and use one of our preferred caterers.

Q. Are kids welcome?
A. Yes! We welcome all of you. We have high chairs available and a change table in our bathroom.

Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Yes, our patio is dog friendly. We have bowls of water available as we know they get thirsty too! We do ask you to keep your dog on a leash while on our premises and pick up after them, if necessary

Q. Do you have free wifi?
A. Yes, we have free wifi for you to check your email, upload to your social media or check out our menu online. Wifi and the password are posted in the tap room.

Q. Where do I park?
A. We have a parking lot for 40 cars as soon as you enter our parking area and we have overflow parking in our back field.  Please look for the signs.  In addition, we have 2 handicap spaces available up near the brewery.   We ask that you do not block the driveway as it is for fire route access.

Q. What hours is your kitchen open until?
A. Our kitchen is open during our patio hours, but closes 30 minutes before the taproom.

Q. Do you offer vegetarian/vegan dishes
A. Yes we do. We offer a wonderful menu with fresh, vibrant and bold flavours. We support local farmers and buy local whenever we can. We will rotate our menu seasonally. Our menu is available here.

Q. Do you cook with nuts?
A. No. In fact, our kitchen is peanut, tree nut and sesame free. We take allergies very seriously. Please inform your server if you have any food allergies.

Q. Do you sell Merchandise?
A. Yes, we have amazing t-shirts, caps, BBQ apron and 3 different glassware options available for sale online or on-site. For a complete list of items of items visit the Buy Our Merch page.

Q. How can I pay?
A. We offer many choices. We prefer Debit and Credit. We accept Debit, Visa and MasterCard. We will accept cash as well.

 

ONLINE SHOP FAQ

Q. Can I purchase beer online and pick up in-store?
A. Yes. Order online and select Buy Our Beer to see our selection of beer sold by the can. Pick-up is available Wednesday anytime between 11AM and 5PM and Thursday through Saturday anytime between 11am and 9pm and Sunday 11am to 7-m.  We offer same day pick up on orders.

Q. Where can I buy beer to go on-site?
A. We have a retail outlet store on-site or in our tap room.  We would be happy to help you select your beer.  Please remember this beer is to go and not drink on-site.

Q. Do you deliver beer?
A. Yes. We offer shipping anywhere in Ontario.  You can order online and choose “shipping” at check-out.  Our shipping fee is $15 flat for your first box (up to 24 cans).  There is an additional $10 fee for each additional box.   Our orders are shipped via Swiftpost (Canpar or ICS).  A valid 19+ government-issued photo ID must be presented at time of delivery.  Local orders in Postal areas starting with L3V or L4R that are $100+ will be delivered for FREE.

Q. Do you offer the same beers online as in the tap room?
A. Not always. In our tap room we have a 14 taps with a diverse selection of fresh new beers on a regular basis everything from bright pilsners and lagers to hazy IPA’s, approachable sours and creamy nitro porters.  We have some of these available in can but often a different variety.  Five of our beers are core beer and will always be available on Tap and in cans.  These five beer are:  Line 12- Helles Lager, Right Bauer-German Pilsner, Big Chute – IPA, Silver Lining – Dark Lager,  and Fiddle & Field – Pale Ale.  If you have questions about your order, send an email to info@quaylesbrewery.ca

Q. Can I purchase products and hold them or combine with a future purchase?
A. If you place an order, we will hold it for you until you pickup. If you want to place additional orders you can combine the orders by making a note of your other order # in our comment box. We will store them together.

Q. Can I buy your beer in the LCBO?
A.  Yes, we currently offer Fiddle & Field our Pale Ale in the LCBO.  If you do not see it, please ask for Quayle’s by name.

Q. Is Quayle’s beer in any local restaurants?
A. Yes we are in over 25 local restaurants, bars & golf courses and growing, sold by the glass or can.  Please ask for us by name.
