About Quayle’s Brewery
Quayle’s Brewery is an independently owned farm brewery set on 87 acres of rolling countryside. We offer a unique destination experience built around community, local ingredients, and great beer.
Our space includes two floors of indoor seating, a large patio, and a welcoming beer garden. All beer is brewed on-site using key ingredients grown on our property. Our kitchen features a seasonal menu with locally sourced products, including produce from our own garden.
In addition to daily service, we host weddings, private events, artisan markets, cycling events, and themed gatherings, with live music offered regularly.
Role Overview
As a Bartender/Front of House team member, your mission is to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll help guests explore our rotating selection of beers, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and ensure every visit is welcoming and memorable.
In this role, you’ll uphold Quayle’s service standards while supporting daily operations, including cash handling, stocking, cleaning, and event support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive guest service.
- Welcome and seat guests as needed.
- Offer knowledgeable recommendations on beer and menu items.
- Serve beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with food service when required.
- Handle cash and POS transactions.
- Sell packaged beer and merchandise with strong product knowledge.
- Maintain and restock bar inventory.
- Follow AGCO guidelines and verify guest age.
- Support events with setup, service, and cleanup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workspace.
- Assist with general tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Passion for craft beer and hospitality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Smart Serve certification.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Prior bartending or service experience is an asset.
- POS experience (TouchBistro or similar) is an asset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling cash and basic math.
- Ability to lift kegs and objects up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
