A modern day classic in its country of origin, this New Zealand Pilsner is hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron and Kohatu hops. New Zealand hops have a largely German lineage, with a distinctive fruity twist coming from the Marlborough/Nelson growing region. The result is a classic herbal pilsner character, accented with fruity peach, lime and white wine flavours. Distant Sun is balanced and satisfying, while still offering a complex and unique flavour. This style has become a modern day classic in its country of origin! We are also using an experimental yeast from Lallemand that creates a nice clean lager.
